Key days of our week:
Homework: Phonics folders and your homework book containing the homework tasks for the week will be handed out on a Friday and collected in the following Wednesday.
Books: Reading books (group reading and phonics targeted book) are changed on a Thursday. Please ensure the reading record is signed.
Library book: changed during our small group library sessions on a Thursday.
P.E: Fridays (Please send your child to school in their P.E kit)
**Please remember to send your child with a water bottle and their book bag every day.**

Maths:
Getting to know you and Match, Sort and Compare. Once we have completed the reception baseline and focussed on settling your child to their new class routine, we will begin by finding objects that are the same, sorting sets by using different rules and comparing by colour, size and amount..
Our visits and visitors:
Local geography walk, date TBC.
We will be making close observations of our environment around us, including the seasonal changes and thinking about special people in our lives, exploring what makes us different and unique this half term.
